Seeing that cheeseboard makes me homesick for my apartment in Bavaria. Only we fortunate few, who've enjoyed the ex-patriot lifestyle, can appreciate just how Americans got royally screwed in the breakfast department. A bowl of Post Toasties or a couple of Pop Tarts, cannot compare to warm pain beaucaire, or baguette, or ciabatta spread with a generous dollop of fromage blanc and topped with a bit of fresh marmalade!!! Heavenly.
