The Roman Palace at Fishbourne
These images are from our excursion to the Roman palace unearthed at Fishbourne beginning in 1960. It's the largest such Roman estate ever found north of the Alps. The archeologists are using a variety of clues to put the big picture together. Meanwhile, the grounds are slowly being restored to what the experts think it would have looked like circa 100 AD.
